In this episode of Richie Reel from Cyprus we travel to Kolossi Castle to explore the ancient ruins of Kourion!

We were very excited to find out about the ancient ruins of Kourion and Kolossi Castle.

The Castle was still spectacular to see, the building itself had been well maintained, it wasn’t expensive to enter and was very easy to find.

The ruins of Kourion deserve a good day of exploring but make sure you have plenty of water if your travelling in the summer months. The area is quit vast and some of the sites have a few hundred meters between each one with little shade.

There are many tours you can take, you can even download audio tours for the site. There are maps and information points to help you navigate your way around the different locations throughout the day. We found these very useful while travelling around the sites.

The Boys especially like the Theatre.
